Rock Meets Symphony: Candlelight Concerts Return to Fayetteville
Concerts by Candlelight returns to Fayetteville with two back-to-back performances that prove classical instruments and rock music make better partners than you’d think. Add in hundreds of flickering candles lighting the room, and you’ve got a concert experience that feels worlds away from your usual Friday night.
This November, the Fayetteville Public Library hosts an evening split between Beatles classics and modern rock hits from Coldplay and Imagine Dragons, all performed by the Listeso String Quartet. The second performance at 8:45 PM shifts to modern rock with a Coldplay and Imagine Dragons double feature. Tracks like “Fix You,” “Believer,” and “Sky Full of Stars” reimagined through strings prove that great songwriting transcends genre.
What You Need to Know
Each concert runs 60 minutes, with doors opening 45 minutes before showtime. Seating is first-come, first-served within your ticket zone, so arriving early gives you the best selection. The venue is ADA compliant, and attendees must be 8 years or older (anyone under 16 needs an adult chaperone).
One important note: doors close 5 minutes before the show starts, and late arrivals won’t be admitted. Give yourself extra time to find parking and get settled before the music begins.
