Lock In Your Shirt Size Early
You get a shirt no matter what, but your size is only guaranteed if you register before August 11, 2026. After that date, the race team does its best to predict turnout, but shirts on race day are limited to whatever is left over. If a specific size matters to you, register early and skip the gamble.

Grab Your Packet Ahead of Time
Grab your packet at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC, located at 2517 SE Best Lane in Bentonville, on Thursday, September 10 or Friday, September 11, both days from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. McLarty Daniel Buick GMC serves as the official packet pickup sponsor for the 2026 Run Bentonville Race Series.

Know Before You Go
You won’t find parking near the track itself since that space is reserved for the start and finish line. Instead, park in the Bentonville School Administration lot across from Old Tiger Track or at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. Check out the full course map if you want to study the route beforehand, and leave your dog at home since pets are not permitted on the course for safety reasons.

Volunteer on Race Day
You can pitch in as a Course Marshal, help at the finish line, or join the Ready For Anything Team. Course Marshal duty requires you to be 18 or older, or accompanied by a supervising adult, and puts you in charge of keeping vehicles clear of the course and helping drivers reroute when needed. Safety vests are provided at the Bentonville Community Center and on-site if you don’t have your own. Find the volunteer signup on the race website if you’re interested.

The Worst Race Ever is one stop in the larger Run Bentonville Race Series, so once you catch the bug here, check out the rest of the lineup throughout the year.
