Spring Fling Mahjong at Samantha’s Garden Is Your Sign to Try Something New

Mahjong has been having a moment, and NWA Mahjong is bringing the game to Samantha’s Garden in Springdale on May 21. If you’ve been curious about the game but never had a good reason to sit down and learn it, this is the night.

Tiles, Stems, and Good Company

Instructors will be stationed at each table to walk you through the game from the start, so no experience is necessary. It’s a hands-on class with guided play, which means you won’t be staring at a rulebook trying to figure things out on your own.

A glass of wine is included with your ticket, and the event is 21+. If wine isn’t your thing, you’re welcome to bring your own drink. You’ll also get to build your own arrangement at the Bud Vase Bar to take home at the end of the night.

A Few Things to Know Before You Go

This class runs with a minimum of 12 players and a maximum of 12 (four per table), so your spot is only secure once you’ve registered and paid. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, but if you can’t make it, the organizers ask that you let them know. If the minimum isn’t reached, the class will be cancelled and refunds will be issued.
