What Makes This Festival Worth Your Time

Since its founding in 2015 and first festival in 2016, INVERSE became a platform where artists experiment with liveness, push formal boundaries, and confront the issues shaping our world through the immediate, unfiltered medium of live performance.

The festival seeks artists in constant interrogation of material, form, and gesture. This means work that employs radical approaches to offer new perspectives on how we experience the world. From longtime performance art followers to curious newcomers, INVERSE creates space for work that challenges, inspires, and provokes.
