The Battle for NWA’s Best Burger Fires Up This September

The hunt for the best burger in Northwest Arkansas is heating up.

You’ll be part of a cookout where chefs are grilling up their best burgers, each one trying to prove who’s got the most flavorful bite. It’s going to be a great cookout, full of good vibes, tasty bites, and friendly competition.

This fall, Shiloh Square will be packed with sizzling grills and serious competitors all chasing the crown. Home cooks, local grill masters, and professional chefs will each bring their top creation to the judges’ table, and the stakes couldn’t be juicier. Winners of the blind judging take home $500 for first place, $250 for second, and—best of all—a coveted Golden Ticket to compete at the World Food Championships in 2026.

The crowd plays a big role, too. Guests get to taste and vote to help decide the People’s Choice Award, and the Beer Tent will be pouring for the 21+ crowd—very on-brand for a Sunday in downtown Springdale.
