What You’ll Learn
The presentation, hosted by Wild Ones – Ozark Chapter, covers the core concepts of native plant landscaping: what makes a plant native, why native species matter for local ecosystems and wildlife, and how to get started on your own site. Davis walks through how to select plants based on your site conditions, how to design and prepare native plant beds that are low-maintenance over time, and the most common mistakes to avoid.

This session is beginner-friendly with no gardening background required. If you’ve been curious about native plants but haven’t known where to begin, this is a good place to start.
