Watch Santa Freefall Into Fayetteville at This Annual Holiday Favorite

Santa’s coming to Northwest Arkansas this December, but instead of landing on rooftops with reindeer, he’ll be jumping out of a plane and parachuting down to meet families at the Arkansas Air & Military Museum.

Here’s What to Expect

You can start showing up at 10:00 AM to grab your viewing spot before the crowd fills in. Santa makes his big entrance at 11:00 AM, freefalling from the sky in full holiday gear. Once he lands, line up for your turn to snap photos with him inside the C-130 Hercules, way cooler than your typical mall Santa backdrop.

Admission is free, and you’ll have until around 1:30 PM to enjoy everything.

When Weather Changes Plans

No one can control the weather, so if skydiving conditions aren’t safe on December 6th, the museum will move the event to December 13th. Check their website or social media before you head out, just to be sure you’re showing up on the right day.

The Santa Drop has returned to NWA each December, drawing families who want something more memorable than the standard mall Santa experience.

Watching Santa parachute from the sky and meeting him inside a military aircraft turns an ordinary holiday photo into something kids will remember long after the season ends.

See you there!
