Campfires and Sleeping Bags Take Over The Jones Center
Your next family camping adventure is happening right in Springdale. The Jones Center’s third annual Community Campout transforms North Community Park into a one-night outdoor playground where families can experience all the magic of camping without the hassle of packing the entire house into the car.

The Full Camping Experience
This isn’t your typical throw-a-sleeping-bag-in-the-backyard camping experience. The Jones Center has crafted something special with guided wilderness survival workshops, nature exploration stations, and kids’ crafts that teach something useful. Plus, you get the camping classics like live music around the campfire, outdoor games, and late-night movies under the stars.
The evening wraps up with the mandatory s’mores session, and you’ll wake up to a breakfast spread featuring a yogurt bar, fresh fruit, and muffins. Coffee is available for purchase, which any parent will tell you is essential for morning survival.

What to Bring
Bring your lawn chairs, bedding, and any comfort items that’ll make your night under the stars feel cozy. The Jones Center provides tent options (2-, 4-, or 6-person) or you can bring your own. Staff members will be on-hand to help with setup, so don’t stress if you haven’t pitched a tent since Scouts camp.

The area is fenced and secure with 24/7 staff onsite, plus easy parking access. This means parents can actually relax instead of constantly doing headcounts and worrying about wandering kids.

All the Adventure, None of the Stress
If your kids have been begging for a camping trip but the thought of driving to a remote campground, setting up in the dark, and hoping you remembered the can opener makes you want to hide under a blanket — this event is your answer. You get all the outdoor adventure and family bonding without the stress of traditional camping logistics.

Spots fill up fast for this popular annual event, so grab your campsite now and get ready to make some seriously good campfire memories.
