Fall Fun Fly Brings Model Aviation Back to BCFT Airstrip
Out on the edge of Bentonville, you’ll find a grass airstrip where model airplanes take to the sky. The Benton County Flying Tigers are opening that airstrip this fall for a day of flying and conversation with pilots from across Northwest Arkansas.

A Club Rooted in Model Aviation Since 1980
You’ll find the Benton County Flying Tigers flying under AMA Charter Number 999, and they’ve held Academy of Model Aeronautics membership since 1980. The airstrip was built specifically for RC planes, so you won’t need to find open space on your own.
Open Flying for Every Skill Level
You don’t need years of experience to show up. The club welcomes students and new flyers just as much as pilots who’ve been flying for years, and if you’re bringing a plane for the first time, club officers are on hand to answer questions and get you set up.
Visitors are welcome even if you don’t have a plane of your own, and officer contact information for questions ahead of the event is posted at BCFT.net.
