Free Museum Day at the Arkansas Air & Military Museum This May
The Arkansas Air & Military Museum has sat at the south end of Fayetteville since 1986, housing aircraft and military artifacts that most NWA residents haven’t seen up close. On May 23, that changes. The museum is dropping admission entirely for Free Museum Day, giving you a full seven hours to explore at your own pace, no ticket required.

Up Close with History
This is the kind of collection you walk through slowly. Aircraft from different eras of American military service sit alongside uniforms, equipment, and artifacts that tell the stories behind the machines. You can take your time, read the details, and actually absorb what you’re looking at.

Make It Count
The museum is aiming to bring 1,000 visitors through the door on May 23. Head to their event page to RSVP and help them hit that number. It takes about 30 seconds, and with a 1,000-visitor goal on the line, every RSVP helps.
