What to Expect at AdventureCon

The convention fills the Rogers Convention Center with dedicated spaces for every type of tabletop enthusiast. Open gaming rooms stay active until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, giving night owl gamers plenty of time to finish that epic campaign or discover a new favorite from the 300+ game library. Families can head to the Kids Gaming Corner, where easy-to-learn games are set up and ready to play without lengthy rule explanations.

The Play-to-Win area lets you walk away with something special. Selected games throughout the weekend give you a shot at taking home prizes with each play. The Board Game Bazaar and Virtual Flea Market create a marketplace for buying, selling, and trading games with fellow attendees.

RPGs, Miniatures, and Tournament Action

Role-playing game fans can join campaigns running throughout the weekend, including D&D, Pathfinder, Savage Worlds, one-shots, and homebrew adventures. The Miniature Painting station welcomes participants ages 7 and up with all supplies included, so you can paint tiny characters without bringing your own brushes.

Competitive gamers can test their skills in tournaments featuring Crokinole, Kabuto Sumo, and speed puzzling. Warhammer players have dedicated tournament options with Age of Sigmar and an additional format to be announced, limited to 32 participants per tournament at $85 each.

Shop the Exhibitors’ Hall

More than 20 vendors fill the Exhibitors’ Hall, ranging from board game publishers showcasing their latest releases to local makers offering handcrafted goods. The convention’s mushroom forest and wizard frog theme shows up in exclusive merch, including shirts, enamel pins, and stickers you can only snag at AdventureCon.
