Wheels Meet Wings

Museum admission is free, and so is the car show, so you can browse the cars and the museum in one visit. Skip the slow start and the second cup of coffee: cars start lining up at 7:30 a.m., and the show runs 8 a.m. to noon. Set the alarm, lace up good walking shoes, and turn the radio up on the drive over.

Got a car worth showing off? Registration is free, and veteran-owned, vintage, and military vehicles are especially encouraged. Sign up through the registration form or pre-register by emailing frontdesk.aamm@gmail.com.

The Car Show Where the Trunk Beats the Hood

Two awards are up for grabs:

  • People’s Choice: votes are $1 a ticket, sold onsite.
  • Most generous ride: a prize goes to the vehicle that brings the most non-perishable food items and the most toys.

Translation: load up before you head out. A spotless paint job is nice. A trunk full of canned goods is nicer.

Fill ‘Er Up for the Holidays

Toys go to the Toys for Tots drive, and non-perishable food goes to a drive supporting veterans in need, with Bo’s Blessings handling distribution. The museum has made the car show its official drive day.

Can’t wait until the 14th? You don’t have to! Toys for Tots is already collecting at the museum during regular hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Updates live on the museum’s Facebook page.

See you there, NWA.
