Clara’s Snowed-In Christmas Eve

Young Clara comes home on Christmas Eve to learn that a snowstorm may keep her family from making it. Just as the loneliness settles in, two whimsical singers appear and sweep her away to Holidaze, a fantastical world of color and circus acts.

Along the way she makes unexpected friends and finds her own courage. Then the payoff: Clara reunites with her loved ones, takes flight in an aerial performance, and joins the whole cast for a Christmas celebration. Bring tissues for the grandparents.

Gravity Takes a Holiday

Cirque Dreams bills Holidaze as the original cirque holiday theatrical event. This annual tradition wraps a Broadway-style production around contemporary circus arts, and the cast list reads like Santa’s workshop got a gym membership:

  • Aerial circus acts: holiday characters defying gravity overhead
  • Sleight-of-hand jugglers: call it sleigh-t of hand if you’re feeling festive
  • Skippers and acrobats: sharing the stage with singers and dancers
  • Toy soldiers and reindeer: yes, they’re in the cast too

Broadway World calls it a chance to “lose yourself for 90 minutes and go back to those wonderful dreams you had as a kid.” That’s a pretty good use of a December evening.

“Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” Sung Live

The music mixes new songs with fresh twists on holiday favorites, including “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “Count on Christmas.” All of it is sung live.

28 Candy Canes and a 21-Foot Fireplace

The 2026 production is reimagined with new sets and costumes, and the inventory is gloriously over the top:

  • 28 sequined candy canes, each three feet tall
  • 16 LED Christmas trees
  • A 21-foot-tall fireplace, so stockings are not a problem
