An Act of Congress That Starts on Time
Yes, that’s the band’s name. And unlike the other kind, this Act of Congress is guaranteed to deliver on schedule: doors at 6:30 p.m., music from 7 to 8:30. The Birmingham, Alabama, band has been performing since 2006, and you can hear their music and get their story at actofcongressmusic.com before you go.
Into the Light’s Fight to End Child Sex Trafficking
Into the Light is a local nonprofit working to end child sex trafficking and bring hope to survivors. Its annual benefit concert brings friends, community leaders, partners and supporters together behind that mission, and the money raised goes directly to survivors right here in Arkansas.
Why Your Gift Goes Further
Honored Underwriters cover all of the event’s costs. So when the financial appeal comes during the program, whatever you give goes to the work itself. Want to back it at a bigger level? Sponsorships are open, too.
Free for College Students, Dressy for Everyone
General admission is $25, complimentary tickets are available, and college students get in free. Got a crew? Organizers are encouraging guests to invite friends or bring a whole group. The dress code is dress to impress, so dig out the good jacket.
Spending that week in Little Rock instead? Into the Light hosts the same concert the night before at the Clinton Presidential Center.
See you there, NWA.
