Double Barrel Gravel Turns 10 This Saturday with a Full Day of Riding and a Party at the Quail Barn

Phat Tire Bike Shop and the Benton County Quail Barn are celebrating a decade of Double Barrel Gravel this Saturday with three ride distances and a full afternoon party that starts when the last rider rolls in.

Pick Your Distance

Three routes run through some of NWA’s most challenging gravel roads. The 15-mile course is marked and a good entry point for newer gravel riders. The 31-mile route adds more challenge, and the 71-mile option packs 5,000 feet of climbing. Tires of 35mm or wider are strongly recommended, and the 71- and 31-mile courses are unmarked so bring a GPS device. Aid stations are provided on all routes.

The 71-mile riders start at 8:00 AM. The 15- and 31-mile riders meet at 1:00 PM.

The Party at the Quail Barn

At 3:00 PM the ride becomes a full celebration. Beer from Fossil Cove Brewery, a jambalaya and crawfish boil, live music from Frisky Squirrels, an inflatable obstacle course, supervised skeet shooting, and a raffle are all on the schedule. Proceeds benefit the Benton County Quails.
