Downtown Bentonville Suits Up for a Patriotic July First Friday

Vendor Village Rolls Into Town
More than 150 vendor booths line the streets around the Square, packed with local artists, makers, food vendors and small businesses from around the region. Give yourself real time to walk the full stretch.

New faces show up alongside First Friday regulars every month, so even if you’ve been before, the lineup won’t look the same twice.

Tunes and Games Take the Square
Once the vendors are set, the entertainment picks up. Carnival games and activities keep kids busy through the evening, and a live band takes the stage to carry the night through downtown.

The Red White and Best Dressed Showdown
Pull out your most patriotic outfit for this one. The Red, White and Best Dressed contest hits the stage at 5:15 p.m., and contestants strut their stars-and-stripes look for a shot at a prize package courtesy of @theopgames. Keep an ear out for stage announcements once you’re on site, since the exact timing can shift depending on how the evening runs.

Parking is free throughout downtown, with garages and street spots open for the taking. First Friday runs rain or shine, and organizers only call it off for severe weather. If conditions turn questionable, check Downtown Bentonville Inc.’s social channels for updates before you head out.
