What to Expect
Mount Sequoyah’s Woods Loop covers about 2.5 miles of winding forest paths with gradual elevation changes. The terrain works for most fitness levels while still giving you a solid workout. You’ll hike at a relaxed, social pace where conversation flows as easily as your steps.

Perched above Fayetteville, Mount Sequoyah offers glimpses of the city through bare winter trees. The quiet forest gives you space to breathe and reset your Saturday morning routine.
What to Wear
February in Northwest Arkansas brings cold temps, so dress in layers you can shed as you warm up. Sturdy shoes with good traction are non-negotiable since winter trails can turn slippery and uneven without warning.

Parking and Arrival
Space fills up fast at the 1680 E Paddock Rd parking area. Arrive 15-20 minutes before the 10:00 AM start to grab a spot and connect with the group before you hit the trail.

Connect with the Community
TrailMix NWA builds community around outdoor exploration in Northwest Arkansas. Group hikes let you meet people who share your interest in getting outside without the pressure of keeping up an exhausting pace. You can actually hold a conversation while you walk, which beats trying to make friends while gasping for air on a solo speed hike.
