George’s Majestic Lounge is kicking off March with a DJ night built around one rule: every song has to include the word “disco.” The concept is simple, the dance floor is open, and the Dickson Street crowd will take care of the rest. There’s more to this night than just the music.

George’s has been a cornerstone of Fayetteville’s nightlife since 1927, hosting everything from blues and bluegrass to rock and reggae. The bar is well-worn in the best way, and the crowd always shows up ready to have a good time. March 8th adds a disco twist to that legacy.

What the Night Looks Like

Every song in the set includes the word “disco” somewhere, whether in the title or the lyrics. That opens the door to a wide range of sounds, from classic floor-fillers to unexpected deep cuts. The DJ runs from 8 PM to 11 PM, with plenty of room to dance and grab a drink at the bar.
