What to Expect on the Trail

This 3-mile hike at Devil’s Den State Park puts you behind goats from Snake Mountain Pack Goats, complete with packs and saddles strapped to their backs. You’ll catch scenic views while your four-legged guides keep you entertained with their antics. Along the trail, guides share insights about local plants, wildlife, and the natural history of the area.

Once the hike wraps up, the group heads to Sassafras Springs Vineyard & Winery for tastings and a chance to hang out with your fellow hikers. It’s a solid way to spend the day that doesn’t follow the usual outdoor activity formula.
