Kids Meet Trucks and Emergency Vehicles at Springdale Touch A Truck
This event has already happened. It took place on October 3, 2026. See what's coming up instead
The name of this event is an instruction, and you and your kids get to follow it. Most days, a truck is something you watch drive past. Children who spend the year pointing at vehicles from a distance get an event where the vehicles stay put and the point is to get close. Springdale’s annual Touch A Truck returns, and you are invited to come along.

Trucks Within Reach
Touch A Truck gives children a chance to learn about trucks and equipment of all shapes and sizes, emergency vehicles included. The event is catered toward children, though you can bring anyone of any age.

Home Team, Hometown Crew
The Springdale Fire Department, along with other local agencies, hosts the event, and you will find it at the home of the Arkansas Naturals baseball team.

Bring the whole family out and spend a day with the trucks. Your kids get to do the touching.
