Ready, Set, Quack as Springdale’s Duck Race Returns
The quacking gets loud when hundreds of rubber ducks take over Turnbow Park for Springdale’s most anticipated floating competition. Eight years running, this community celebration brings together families, teachers, and anyone who’s ever rooted for an underdog duck to cross the finish line first.

The Springdale Public Schools Education Foundation transforms a simple stream into the ultimate race course, where every bright yellow participant carries more than just racing dreams—they’re floating toward a $1,000 classroom grant that could change everything for local students.

Making Waves for Education
Every duck in the water represents hope for a Springdale classroom. When you purchase a racing duck, you can champion a specific school or teacher, or let SPSEF match your contribution with an educator who could use the boost. The top 10 winners each secure a $1,000 grant that funds everything from classroom supplies to special projects that spark student creativity.

Race Day Energy
Turnbow Park transforms into race central, buzzing with families cheering for their chosen ducks while kids press against the creek banks to catch the action up close.

When you buy a duck, you can back a specific school or teacher, or let SPSEF assign yours to one that could use a little extra support. And while you can always catch the action on the live stream, nothing beats being there in person.

Turnbow Park will be full of energy, laughs, and plenty of quacking good fun—you’ll want to join the crowd and cheer these ducks to the finish line. See you there!
