Ready, Set, Quack as Springdale’s Duck Race Returns

Time to cheer for the fastest ducks in town as they race to win in Springdale’s annual event that brings everyone together.

Springdale is bringing its best, playful, competitive spirit all in support of a great cause with the Duck Race. Hundreds of bright yellow racers will hit the water, each one carrying the hopes of a teacher, a school, and a cheering section waiting to see them float to victory. 

This year’s race is definitely one you don’t want to miss.

For 8 years, the Springdale Public Schools Education Foundation has organized the Duck Race as a fun way to bring the community together while raising money for classrooms. Every duck in the race represents a teacher or school, and the top 10 winning ducks each earn a $1,000 classroom grant to fund projects, supplies, or special materials that make a difference for students.

When you buy a duck, you can back a specific school or teacher, or let SPSEF assign yours to one that could use a little extra support. And while you can always catch the action on the live stream, nothing beats being there in person. 

Turnbow Park will be full of energy, laughs, and plenty of quacking good fun—you’ll want to join the crowd and cheer these ducks to the finish line. See you there!
