Square 2 Square Bike Ride Rolls Through Fayetteville and Bentonville

Grab your bike. Fayetteville and Bentonville connect for a ride down the Razorback Greenway, with good company the whole route. You don’t need to be a serious cyclist to show up, just a bike and a morning open on the calendar. Riders come out on everything from cruisers to road bikes, all pointed toward the same finish line.

A Decade on the Greenway

For more than ten years, Fayetteville Parks & Recreation and Bentonville Parks & Recreation have hosted the Square 2 Square Bike Ride twice a year on the Razorback Greenway. You’re joining an event aimed at getting new people on bikes, with safe riding as a priority along the trail. If you’re registering as a family, four or more riders from the same household qualify for a Family Pack discount of $10 off per rider.

Miles of Greenway Between Two Downtowns

The route runs more than 30 miles from Fayetteville to Bentonville, with stops in Rogers, Lowell, Downtown Springdale, and Lake Fayetteville. Each one is a good excuse to grab a snack and take a photo with your crew before you get back on the trail. You’ll cross the finish line at Dave Peel Park, 206 E Central Ave in Bentonville, open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Your Pace, Your Month

If a set start time doesn’t work for your schedule, the DIY Ride lets you ride the Greenway on your own terms anytime between October 1 and 31. You still get the full route, just without a set start time. If you’d rather skip pedaling to the start, a shuttle can take you and your bike to Upper Ramble, though space is limited to 45 to 50 riders.
