The Momentary Goes Wild with a House Party for Wildlife Fans
The Momentary is bringing out its party animal side this Saturday with a House Party celebrating its newest exhibition, The Greatest Wildlife Photographs by National Geographic. The all-day event runs from 10am to 4pm and packs in dance parties, artmaking, food trucks, and surprise moments throughout the venue. It’s all completely free.

How to Spend Your Day
The event is designed as a drop-in celebration, so you can show up whenever works for your schedule and stay as long as you want. Start with the family-friendly dance party where you can unleash your best animal-inspired moves, then wander through creative pop-ups scattered across the venue. Holliday Tintype Photography will be set up in the Arvest Bank Courtyard all day if you want a vintage-style portrait.
Between noon and 4pm, the courtyard becomes activity central with face painting from Art of Fun, screen printing with Madhouse Merch, and hands-on artmaking stations. You can try your hand at cyanotype creatures in the Atrium or transform yourself with the “Fur-tastic Transformation” station. Local nature organizations including Hobb’s State Park, Big Paws of the Ozarks, Ozark Natural Science Center, and Turpentine Creek will have stations set up to share what they do in the region.
Gallery tours run at 12pm and 1:30pm if you want context on the photographs, and the RØDE House hosts Nat Geo videos and a play zone from 10am to 1:15pm. From 1pm to 4pm, you can catch a National Geographic photography documentary in Fermentation Hall while you take a break from the action.
Food trucks will be parked on-site throughout the day, so you can fuel up between activities without leaving the party.
