Trailmix Together Turns Grief Into Community Conversation
Some conversations are easier to have outside, with your hands busy and your kids nearby. That’s the idea behind Trailmix Together, a monthly gathering in Rogers built around honest talk, community, and a little room to breathe.

This Month’s Theme
August’s gathering centers on “The Long Haul,” a theme focused on resilience, grief, and how people keep moving through hard seasons. The format stays the same as always: a welcoming, low pressure space for conversation, reflection, and connection within community.
Meet the Guest Speaker
You’ll hear from Lori Carter, an ANFT Certified Forest Therapy Guide and the proprietor of Interconnected Forest Therapy. She’ll guide the discussion around resilience, grief, and persistence through difficulty.
Something for the Kids Too
While you talk, your kids can join an activity called Butterflies and Belly Breathing, so the whole family has a reason to come along.
More Than One Gathering
If August 2 doesn’t work for your schedule, you’ve got more chances to plug in. Trailmix Together meets monthly, each with its own theme. July’s gathering focused on “Every Day Awe,” and September moves into “Bridges, Not Walls.” You’ll also find park play days, game nights like Bunco, and a fall campout at Lake Leatherwood on the wider Trailmix NWA calendar.
Bring the Whole Crew
You don’t need any special preparation, just a willingness to show up and listen. Follow Trailmix NWA on Facebook to catch details on future meetups as they’re announced.
