Equality Now 5k, Fun Run, and Health Fair

The second annual Equality Now 5k, Fun Run, and Health Fair will be held on April 13, 2024, and MANA will sponsor it. The main objective of the event will be to raise awareness and promote the health and well-being of BIPOC (black, indigenous, and other people of color) members of our community.

The event welcomes members of the BIPOC community and its allies. Apart from creating awareness, the event will highlight health inequities experienced by the BIPOC community by having community building and exercise programs. There will be healthcare services on-site at the fair. If you want to volunteer for the event, the following options are available:

  • $50 – Non-Profit Vendor Table
  • $150 – Vendor Table
  • $100 – Partner Level
  • $250 – Friend
  • $500 – Blue Level
  • $1000 – Gold Level
  • $2500 – Platinum
  • $5000 – Diamond Level

Adventure Ozark 8-Hour Race 2024

Northwest Arkansas is famed for having some of the best scenery in the country. This eight-hour adventure will explore the various scenic natural attractions of the region. During the eight hours, you will join locals and visitors in epic biking, trekking, and paddling.

During the adventure, participants will view pristine trails, rolling mountains, incredible vistas, and awe-inspiring lakes. The maps for the adventure will be pre-plotted, and accessible navigation will be available at all experience levels. The maps will cover various distances:

  • Total miles: 30-45 miles
  • Biking: 20-30 miles
  • Trekking: 5-10 miles
  • Paddling: 3-8 miles

The schedule for the Adventure Ozark 8-Hour Race 2024 is as follows:

  • Friday, April 12 (5 pm to 8 pm) – Team registration
  • Saturday, April 13 (7 am) – Mandatory Race Briefings and Gear Checks
  • Saturday, April 13 (8 am) – Race Start
  • Saturday, April 13 (4 pm) – Race End
  • Saturday, April 13 (4 pm to 7 pm) – Awards/Festival Celebration

Teams participating in the various activities are expected to adhere to the various safety regulations placed during the adventure. The available racing categories include:

The Natural State Criterium Series

Springdale will host two major Natural State Criterium Series events (NSCS Overall Series and NSCS Series 1) on April 17, 2024. The start and finishing line will be in the heart of Downtown Springdale. The race will cover 0.9 miles of the classic criterium course, featuring eight turns. During the competition, there will be different categories of races.

The 2024 NSCS Overall Series and NSCS Series 1 will have the following race awards:

  • Women Only Race – Awards to the top 3 Female overall finishers
  • C Race – Awards to the top 3 Male and 3 Female overall finishers
  • B Race – Awards and Cash ($75/$50/$25) to the top 3 Male and 3 Female overall finishers
  • A Race – Awards and Cash ($110/$90/$75/$50/$25) to the top 5 Males and 5 Females overall finishers
