Nightmare On Block Street Turns Pinpoint Fayetteville Haunted

You can’t see all the terror from the street. The rest waits at the bottom of a staircase, where a Halloween pop-up bar started on September 25 and has settled in for the month. The team behind it set out to give you the Halloween experience you’ve always seen in the movies and could never find. So you head down, leave the sidewalk behind, and find out what it looks like when a bar goes all in on October.

Arkansas’ Only Pinball Bar Goes Full Haunted

Founder Bo Counts got his start in 2006 as an event promoter, then ran the arts non-profit Art Amiss, which put on pop-up art shows. His Halloween events and pop-ups across Arkansas have drawn attention from Food & Wine. When he opened his own bar in 2018, Pinpoint became the home of the annual event. Pinpoint Fayetteville is the state’s first and only pinball and cocktail lounge.

Dress The Part And Drink The Theme

The whole bar gets covered in Halloween decor, with themed areas and booths to settle into. The menu is themed too, and Pinpoint’s own example is blood punch served from an IV bag in a haunted hospital. Show up in costume and you’ll qualify for specials.

Leave The Big Bags At Home

Leave large bags and purses at home. Because of high theft, any that come along are subject to inspection when you leave the bar.

On Friday and Saturday nights, Corbett’s Hot Dogs sets up on the pumpkin patch patio with themed spooky dogs. Order one, or stick with a classic.

Everyone’s most feared spirit gets its own night in October, with Malört specials and giveaways and drawings to go with them. Bring a friend or an enemy, since Malört is best enjoyed with either.

Smashburgs And A Beer Made For The Occasion

Smashburgs pops up on the patio too, with extra spooky smash burgers. Pair one with Hoppy Halloween, an exclusive beer Crisis Brewing made for Nightmare on Block Street. No date has been set yet, so keep an eye on Pinpoint’s channels for the announcement.
