Frisco Inferno Puts Barbecue and Sauce to a Vote in Downtown Rogers
Barbecue arguments rarely get settled, but in Downtown Rogers you get a ballot. Most barbecue fans have a favorite and a strong opinion to go with it, and at Frisco Inferno those opinions turn into votes. Now in its 11th year, the competition puts each team’s cooking in front of tasters with voting tickets in hand.

Sauce Takes the Stage on Friday
The Best Sauce Award is new this year and extends the tasting into Friday evening. You sample the sauces the teams entered and vote for the People’s Choice Best Sauce. Extra plates let you taste more of them.

Saturday Belongs to the Pork and the Chicken
Every team serves pork and chicken, and each taster pack comes with one voting ticket for each meat. Buy five packs and you get 25 tastes, plus 5 tickets for pork and 5 for chicken. Winners are announced at the end of the event.

Two Ways to Win a Trophy
Judges’ Choice goes to the entries picked by non-partisan judges, with a separate group for each meat category. People’s Choice belongs to you. Each meat category pays $1,000 for first place, $500 for second, and $250 for third.

Put Your Own Smoker on the Line
Teams receive pork butts and chicken breasts to cook with, plus two tickets to the event, and compete for both the Judges’ Choice and People’s Choice awards.

Enter a team if you want your own barbecue up for a vote, or come hungry and do the voting yourself.
