Bentonville Square Fills Up for August’s First Friday Live
Downtown Bentonville shuts down a handful of streets and opens up the calendar every first Friday, and this one gives you a whole day to fill before the sun goes down. The Square turns into a walkable stretch of stages, booths, and open storefronts, and you can drop in for an hour on a lunch break or camp out for the whole afternoon and evening.

Start Your Day on the Mat
Yoga Story leads a free yoga class on the square in the early afternoon, open to every age and skill level. Bring your own mat, blanket, or towel, plus water, and ease into the day before the rest of the event ramps up.

Who’s Taking the Main Stage
Vendor booths open in the afternoon and food trucks run all day, but the main stage doesn’t kick off until early evening. Perry Ryan Theater Company opens things up, followed by the Williams Daddy Daughter Dance Routine, winners of Bentonville’s Got Talent. Chris Perkins takes over next, Anna and Cord follow, and the night closes out with the Ultimate Prince Tribute.

Shop More Than 100 Vendors
You’ll find local artists, handmade goods, specialty foods, small businesses, and nonprofits filling the square and surrounding streets. Browse for a gift, check out a business you’ve never heard of, or just see what your neighbors have been making.

Eat Your Way Down the Block
Food trucks run all day, with this month’s lineup including Beaver Tails, Chelle’s Burger Joint, Carsten’s, Kona Ice, and Rolling Taco. If you’d rather sit down for a meal, the restaurants around the square are open too.

Meet the Sponsors
Walmart For Good returns as the presenting sponsor for the 2026 First Friday season, with the City of Bentonville, Visit Bentonville, and the Walton Family Foundation continuing as community partners. Del Real, Drip Drop, and Dole Whip are running takeover activation booths this month with giveaways and interactive experiences worth tracking down.

Getting There
Several streets around the square close for the event. Carpool or bike in if you can, and get there early to make the most of your time downtown.
