Bentonville’s Spookiest First Friday Ever at Haunted Holler
Are you up for some frights, thrills, and Halloween feels?
Bentonville Square is about to get seriously spooky. Haunted Holler is bringing in costume parades, pumpkin carving contests, live music, and a serious dose of Halloween energy.
So ditch the usual pumpkin spice and bring your best costume to the Square.

It’s going to be a full-packed spooky, but family-friendly day on the Square. Start your morning with yoga under the Great Pumpkin and visit themed vendor zones. If you want to show off your carving skills, bring your jack-o’-lantern to the Square between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to enter the Pumpkin Carving Contest. As evening hits, performances from artists like Po’ Ramblin’ Boys and Jukebox Confession will take over the main stage. There will be Halloween trivia, a Howl-Off contest, and the crowd-favorite Thriller dance. The Razorback Spirit Squad will also be there to keep the energy high.
If you’re craving for something more extreme, you can head to the Thrill Yard for mechanical bull riding. Photo ops with the Ghostbusters crew will be available, and there will also be scavenger hunts throughout the day to keep you exploring every corner of the Square. Parents can bring the little ones to the Kids Zone for games and face painting, but if you need a calmer spot, you can head to Sensory Alley, which offers a low-stimulation area designed for families seeking a quieter experience.
During the evening, put your costume on full display for the Monster March costume parade. Meet up will be at the DBI booth near the stage and march around the Square alongside fellow goblins, witches, and whatever else crawled out of your closet this year.
