Aura Dance With Me Studios is taking over the Great Hall for a swing night built around good music, no-pressure dancing, and a dress code that gives you an excuse to dig out the leather jacket or poodle skirt. No Partner, No Problem
You’ll start with a beginner-friendly swing lesson led by Aura’s instructors. Dancers rotate throughout class, so you don’t need to bring someone to keep up. Once the lesson wraps, the floor opens for social dancing with high-energy swing favorites and throwback hits to close out the night. The theme is greaser glam, so pull out the leather jacket, poodle skirt, polka dots, or cuffed jeans if you’ve got them.
The Woman Behind the Moves
Aura has been performing since she was three years old. Originally from San Salvador, El Salvador, she moved to the U.S. in 2006 and has been teaching in Northwest Arkansas ever since. She owns Dance With Me Studio by Aura in downtown Rogers and has trained under World dance champions including Louis Van Amstel from Dancing with the Stars and David Elkins.
