Downtown Bentonville Comes Alive for First Friday Live
Step into Downtown Bentonville on a First Friday between April and October and you’ll feel the shift immediately. Music drifts between the storefronts while food carts send warm smells into the evening air. Neighbors settle into folding chairs and spots on the grass, catching up as the crowd builds around them. By the time the sun dips behind the rooftops, string lights flicker on and you’re settled into one long, easy hangout with the rest of downtown.

Start Your Day with Food and a Stretch
Food trucks are on hand throughout the day, so you can grab a bite whenever you get hungry. If you’d rather ease into things first, swing by for free yoga with Yoga Story before the square really gets going.

Browse Booths Full of Local Makers
Vendor booths fill the square with local artists, makers, and small businesses. You’ll want to leave yourself plenty of time to work through the tables and strike up a conversation with the person behind each booth. You’ll walk away with something made right here in Northwest Arkansas instead of shipped in from somewhere else.

A Lineup Built for the Whole Evening
The music runs in waves as the evening unfolds. Perry Ryan Theater Company opens things up, followed by Jakob Alexander, then Squash Garden, with Benjamin Del Shreve closing out the night. It’s all part of a season-long theme called First Friday Live, presented by Walmart For Good, with a focus on live music, entertainment, and interactive experiences.

Bring the Whole Crew
Leashed pets are welcome, so there’s no need to leave your dog at home. Free parking is available throughout Downtown parking garages and on the street, so you can park once and stay for the whole event. Support for the season comes from the Walton Family Foundation, Visit Bentonville, and the City of Bentonville.

You’re catching the second-to-last First Friday of 2026, so if you’ve been meaning to check one out, this is a solid one to put on your calendar before the season wraps.
