Matt Rife has been selling out arenas worldwide, and Rogers is his next stop. He’s become one of the most-talked-about names in stand-up, and the Stay Golden Tour is headed to NWA this fall.

How He Got Here

Rife started doing stand-up at 15 outside Columbus, Ohio, moved to LA at 17, and joined MTV’s Wild ‘N Out as the youngest cast member in history for four seasons. He later hosted the TRL reboot and picked up TV credits on Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Fresh Off the Boat, but stand-up is where he stayed focused.

He built his audience on YouTube before Netflix came calling. His 2021 special Only Fans was self-produced. Matthew Steven Rife, released in April 2023, was filmed in Austin and dedicated to his biggest role model, his grandfather Steven, who had recently passed. The crowd work special Walking Red Flag followed and crossed 10 million views.

In November 2023, Natural Selection dropped on Netflix, pulling 10.3 million views in its first two weeks and reaching the Top 10 in 42 countries, including number one in the U.S., Canada, and South Africa.

The Tour by the Numbers

600,000 tickets sold in under 48 hours on his ProbleMATTic World Tour, one of the largest comedy tours in over 20 years. Four sold-out nights at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. More than 18 million social media followers and 2 billion views across platforms. This stop is part of his current Live Nation run, the Stay Golden Tour, at the Walmart AMP.
