From Indiana Roots To The Late Night Couch
Palascak grew up in a small Indiana town before his family moved to the suburbs, where he got his start doing stand-up in Chicago. You’ll recognize his face from The Tonight Show, The Late Show, The Late Late Show, and Conan. His debut half hour is also live on Comedy Central’s The Half Hour via Paramount+, with an upcoming spot on CBS’s Comics Unleashed adding to that list of credits.
The Critics Are Laughing Too
His self-produced special, He’s Friendly, has racked up over 215,000 views on YouTube and streams on SiriusXM comedy channels like Pure Comedy, so you can queue it up before the show if you want a preview. The Chicago Reader’s Drew Hunt called him an antidote to the cynicism running through modern stand-up, and The Guardian praised his writing and performance in the same breath, calling his act clean, clever, dark, and funny. He also finished as a Top 5 finalist on Last Comic Standing after knocking out Taylor Tomlinson in a head-to-head round, with one judge noting his likability and sitcom potential.

Dad Jokes That Actually Land
Palascak lives in California now, raising a kid of his own, and records his podcast, I Just Got My Kid To Sleep, every Monday night once that kid finally goes down. If you’ve ever tried to get a kid to bed and failed, you’ll recognize the exhaustion in his material before he even says a word.

This show marks one stop on the Center Stage Comedy lineup that runs through Spring 2027, so if Palascak’s set has you hooked, keep an eye out for who takes the stage next. If you need a hand with your own kids that night, Jones Center’s Parent’s Night Out keeps them entertained on-site while you catch the show.

Round up your crew and claim your seats for a night of clean comedy in Springdale.
