NWA’s Biggest Dog Show Brings Pups, Vendors, and a Star-Studded Finale to Town
Some dogs were born for the spotlight, and Muttminster gives every single one of them a shot at it. This all-day NWA festival celebrates dogs of every size, skill, and style with competitions, local vendors, and a star-studded finale to close out the day. Bring your pup, bring your people, and get ready for a day that’s as fun for the humans as it is for the dogs.

A Ring for Every Dog
This isn’t your stuffy, pedigree-only kind of competition. Muttminster features 10 categories plus a People’s Choice Award, and every dog is welcome to enter up to three.
Think your pup is the spitting image of you? Enter Most Like Their Owner. Got a dog with a haircut that stops people in their tracks? Unique Grooming is calling. Raising a four-legged speed demon? Doggy Dash and Fastest Fetch are ready to settle the debate. There’s a Pup-and-Coming Star category for puppies under one year old, and Golden Oldie for the seasoned veterans who still show up and show out. The Ugliest Cutest category gives the underdogs their moment, while Fashionista is all about runway-ready pups in bow ties, tutus, and everything in between.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons will be awarded across the board.
Shop, Learn, and Let Your Dog Play
Starting at 11 AM, vendor booths bring some of NWA’s best pet-focused businesses to one place, including All Paws Training, Best Friends Animal Shelter, Hollywood Feed, Hounds Lounge, St. Francis Animal Hospital, Service Dogs of Distinction, and more.
At 11:15 AM, you can jump into Dog Training Masterclasses or get creative at Paint Your Pup. Both sessions have limited spots and fill up on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early if you want in.
The Finale Worth Staying For
Muttminster closes with Puppy Pals Live at 4 PM — a canine stunt show that’s toured across the country and landed a spot on America’s Got Talent. Rescued and adopted dogs take center stage for a mix of jaw-dropping stunts and laugh-out-loud comedy that lands with kids and adults alike. A separate ticket is required, so grab yours ahead of time.
