What You’re Signing Up For
This one doubles as the official launch of Monarch Adventures, so you’re getting in on the ground floor. Your registration covers a guided group paddle, glow bracelets and necklaces, a welcome mocktail, light snacks, and a shot at winning a small prize. Organizers start the evening with a short safety briefing before the group launches together.
What to Bring
You’ll need your own paddle board and paddle (or kayak or canoe, since all non-motorized watercraft are welcome), a Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device, and navigation lights for your board, which are required. Glow lights to decorate your gear are encouraged, and a waterproof phone case is a smart call if you want photos of the moon on the water.
No Experience Required
You don’t need to have paddled before. You do need to be comfortable swimming. Kneeling and sitting are both fair game if standing isn’t your thing, so don’t let that stop you from signing up.
Space is limited, so reserve your spot before it fills.
