The Bentonville Square Is Your New Wednesday Night Chess Spot Through October

Downtown Bentonville Incorporated is bringing chess to the Bentonville Square every Wednesday evening from May through October, and no registration is required. The Chess Club is an open-play setup right in the heart of downtown, giving players of all levels a regular spot to show up, sit down, and get a game in. It runs through the end of October, so there are plenty of Wednesday evenings to make it a habit.

What to Expect

Chess Club is open-play street chess on the Bentonville Square. Boards and pieces are available on a first come, first served basis, but you’re welcome to bring your own. All skill levels are welcome, from first-time players to seasoned opponents.

Keep an eye out for occasional prizes and challenge nights throughout the season.
