Felt, Wheels, and a Full Day of Fun
House Party marks the opening of Lucy Sparrow: The Beginning of Convenience, Sparrow’s first U.S. museum exhibition, a larger-than-life recreation of a 1980s–90s supermarket built from over 20,000 handcrafted felt items, from frozen dinners to cereal boxes to cleaning supplies. The exhibition is sponsored by P&G.

You’ll also find activations tied to Chuck Ramirez: Ordinary Wonders, a photography show that reframes everyday objects as reflections of community, memory, and loss.

Your drop-in options throughout the day: make your own felt “shopping buddy” inspired by Sparrow’s work, print a custom shopping bag, hit the 80s/90s trivia lounge, and grab a first-jobs name tag on your way in.
Roll Out to the Courtyard
Head to the North Courtyard for DJ Girlfriend on 80s and 90s hits while the AR Roller Skate Crew keeps the rink going. Over in the Arvest Courtyard, you can catch Double Dutch Therapy performing alongside chalk, hula-hoops, and jump ropes on the pavement.

Drop in between 1–2 PM to join Lucy Sparrow for a tour through The Beginning of Convenience. Grady Drugg & Arnie Brenn play a concert at 7 PM.

Make a Day of It
The Momentary sits in the heart of Bentonville’s arts district, so before or after the party, you have plenty to explore nearby. Check out everything on offer at themomentary.org.
