Joshua Stacy Is Taking the Impossible to Five NWA Spots

Joshua Stacy has been chasing the feeling of impossibility since he was ten years old. Self-taught and obsessive about the craft, the Fayetteville-based magician has spent over two decades refining close-up work that happens inches from your face. He’s a member of Ring 403 of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and has been featured in the NWA Democrat-Gazette. Now he’s bringing that obsession to five NWA venues, ten people at a time.

Up Close and Unexplained

Impossible Things is not a stage show. Joshua works at a table, just a few feet from where you’re seated. Every effect happens in your hands, on the table in front of you, or in plain sight with nowhere to hide. Some of what you’ll see comes from techniques he has spent years developing. Some seems to happen on its own. One was set in motion before you ever walked into the room.

Your Seat at the Table

You’re seated in an intimate semicircle of ten chairs. Participation is encouraged, but never required. Out of respect for the experience, phones stay away for the full 90 minutes. The show is intended for ages 16 and older, and tickets are non-refundable within 7 days of the performance but transferable at any time.

If you want to get closer to the work, the VIP option adds a private 10-minute preshow at the table with Joshua before the doors open to the rest of the group, limited to two per performance.

With ten seats per show and five venues across NWA, spots go quickly. Grab your ticket at theatresquared.org before the one that works for you fills up.
